On Friday, March 5th, PPACS proudly welcomed State Representative William Keller to our school in order to continue our celebration of Dr. Seuss's 104th birthday. After a long talk with William, the staff introduced him to much of the artwork and projects created be PPACS' talented students. William was brought to each classroom from grades K-8 to talk to the students and observe them while they quietly worked on their studies. Eventually, he entered our school's auditorium, and our talented ballet and vocal majors gladly presented a brief performance as a welcoming gift. Afterwards, William read the book "And to Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street" to the students. Finally, after waiting, The Cat and the Hat arrived and greeted Representative Keller. Many pictures were taken with this frisky fellow. The young ones enjoyed themselves and so did the older students. When the cake arrived, they all sang Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss and then watched as William Keller and The Cat and The Hat made the first cut into he cake. After a long, exciting day it was time for Representative Keller to go and continue his hard-working job.
