PPACS Students Join The Cast Of Whistle Down The Wind

The cast from Whistle Down the Wind has been touring across the country and needed child-performers for their show. Our school's reputation at the Merriam Theater brought casting directors to PPACS. After seeing our children audition, they were blown away. In all, thirteen students were chosen for the show. It is running from February 5th through the 10th and is being held at the Merriam Theater.
This production is the work of lyricist Jim Steinman and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. It is directed and produced by Bill Kenwright. The show was already featured in the United Kingdom and was a huge success.
This musical tells the story of a young Louisiana girl who finds a mysterious stranger hiding in her barn. When she asks his identity, the first words he utters are "Jesus Christ;" and it's as if all her prayers have been answered. While the townspeople are determined to find the escaped felon, she and her friends vow to protect him from the outside world.
