PPACS Student's Artwork To Be Featured In City-Wide Campaign

The visual arts majors entered a tobacco awareness contest sponsored by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health. Daniel Thai received the first place award and his artwork has been made into a poster that can be seen on SEPTA buses. He was also awarded a $250.00 gift card to Borders book store. Dario Weldon won second place and was awarded a $150.00 gift card TO BORDERS. The winners and their families were recognized at an awards ceremony on May 28th at Temple University's Center City campus.
