Two Students Take Home Prize from 2009 Youth Art Month Contest

Every year, the Moore College of Art and Design hosts Youth Art Month. Students from across the area enter the competition and eagerly display their work. This year, PPACS was one of one hundred fifty schools invited to partake in the festivities. The exhibit located at the Galleries at Moore began on February 23rd and ended with an awards ceremony and reception on March 4th. Of the many students who entered, two of our young artists took home top prizes. Katina Dinh won 1st place amongst the 8th grade entries and Jordyn Teal won 2nd place amongst the 3rd grade entries. Also featured in the exhibit were 3rd grade student Raimondo Partito, 6th grade student Alena Popolo, and 8th grade student Marketa Johnson. We are so proud of our young artists!
