Maria LaRosa from Channel 3 Visits PPACS
Ms. Ferrante's 4th Grade Class Learns About the Weather from Channel 3's Maria LaRosa

Room 101 had a very unique science class on Wednesday, November 28th when CBS 3 visited the school to do their live weather forecast. Before they went on air, students had about 45 minutes to ask questions about the weather. Maria, the meteorologist, was eager to answer everyone's questions.
Ms. Larosa was excited to be at a performing arts charter school and requested to here some of our students sing. The entire class sang Jingle Bell Rock. After their lovely rendition of this Christmas classic, Iyanna McCoy and Zenia Mitchell recited Respect. This was followed by Deck the Halls, sung by Demitria Zingone, Brittany DeMatteo, and Amin Reed. When everything was through, Maria said goodbye to the class. Thanks to her, they had a ball!
