Junior Chorus
Junior Chorus is an after school performance ensemble for Grades 3 through 5. At the beginning of third grade, the students are invited to audition for the chorus, which this year consisted of 75 students, the largest it has been since its conception.
The Chorus meets once a week after school for an hour, and usually performs twice a year, once in the winter, and then again in the spring. Many Junior Chorus members go on to become Vocal Music Majors.
What we have been up to lately...
The Junior Chorus was busy preparing for the Winter Concert being held at the Merriam Theatre on Thursday on December 20, 2007.
This year, the Junior Chorus has increased in size dramatically. You can barely fit all of them into the Violin room. I hope Miss Rosemary can handle it.
